Graceland Phuket - Disappointment

Very disappointed. Although we were upgraded (thanks) my room had the most dreadful smell (stagnant water) and I had to keep the balcony door open. The room is very tired. The marble where the coffee making equipment is was cracked. The floor was scuffed and the telephone in the bathroom fell off the wall. The toilet itself made "moaning" noises frequently. The layout of the room is peculiar. Between the two beds are the lighting switches (lighting very dim) but there is no electrical socket. I had to sleep on the right side of the bed in order to plug my phone into an electrical socket. However there was no light switch to turn off the bedside light so I had to turn off all the lights and walk back in darkness to my side of the bed. Incidentally the "bedside table" was almost out of reach from the bed. Couldn't move it nearer because then it would cover the electrical socket. The bathroom was large, couldn't make out the glass windows etc., but the one thing in its favour was that the water flow was very good although the shower head then turned to the left when the water was fully turned on. Breakfast was good but I have had much better. No hot coffee served, only from machines where the drink came out warm rather than hot. I would not stay there again, very tired hotel.

Fantastic resort. Very friendly staff. Delicious food. Amazing pools. And we had an absolute ball of fun with Asha, Kelvin and Dino doing all the fun daily sports and daily aqua aerobics. Also Thanks to Oil in the swim up bar for keeping us hydrated with the very delectable cocktails. We will definitely be returning next year. Highly recommend.

Awesome! Close to everything! Great breaky & gym & entertainment team just fantastic!! Number 10 & 2 carts on street opposite to resort so amazing & plenty of water sport activities just across the road for a few $$ 😊 Do heaps…or nothing at all…great for everyone!!

This is a very large hotel with around 600 bedrooms. We had a lovely family room with a shared pool off the balcony which was lovely. The pools at the resort are lovely and it was generally not a problem getting sun lounger. The breakfast restaurant was busy but offered a good selection. The pool menu was small but nice. We did not eat dinner in the hotel. The hotel is located on the busy main street in Patong and you had to cross the road to get to the beach, but this was easy and safe as there was a guard stopping traffic. The surrounding area was very busy and busier that we had expected and we ended up cutting our stay short and move to a quieter location up the coast. This was not as a result of the hotel more the area. If you are looking for peach and quiet then this is not the hotel/area for you. There were plenty of good restaurant in the area and 7 Eleven around the corner where we could stock on drinks for the fridge in our room.

I just returned from a holiday at this hotel. it was unforgettable! large green area of the hotel, first line from the sea, large swimming pool, excellent breakfast. and most importantly, the smiling staff and the guys from the children's club, who exercise every morning in the pool, played water polo, volleyball and basketball with us. Asha , Kelvin thank you for your activity! Dino one love)
